Roca Ball one ball rotation exercises helps build hand strength and finger coordination. Hold a two pound or one pound ball (depending on your hand size and strength) and rotate the ball with your fingers. This exercise can be done standing or while sitting. Depending on your strength, you can support your arm or do the exercise unsupported. If your arm is unsupported, the exercise will work the forearms and biceps more. You can support your forearm by placing your forearm on a chair arm rest, or by placing your forearm on your leg when sitting.
This exercise is particularly useful for rock climbers, acrobats, gymnasts, and other people stressing their hands. If you have an injury, or history of an injury, always consult with a doctor before doing exercises with weights.
